I am a big proponent of natural birth. I wouldn't trust anyone but a midwife to help me bring my babies into the world. It was really neat reading about the movement away from midwives to the age of Twilight Sleep and Maternity hospitals.My heart ached for Dora though, being around mama's all her life and never having her own babies aside from her Moss baby.
